THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER!! Their 2 piece is so affordable, juicy, and perfectly crispy. When biting into the chicken, you have to account for the juice. I had no idea how they get it that juicy. Their sides were also humongous, and my boyfriend got the catfish jourdain. I couldn't taste the lemony sauce but the catfish was soft and also perfectly crispy. I also had the best Mac and cheese of my life here. It was creamy with the perfect amount of cheesy crust. The service is also very welcoming. The staff greet you downstairs and lead you to your table upstairs. This was my favorite food spot in NOLA and I'd 100% recommend to any one visiting.

Loved the way it was decorated. The people were very friendly and welcoming. Had the two pieces chicken meal with white beans and rice. With corn bread. The spice in white beans and rice was wonderful, the chunks of ham and sausage, yummy. Totally recommend!

I had 3 different people recommend this restaurant so it was a must to visit. Word of mouth is strong and the food had to be the truth because I arrived 30 minutes or so after it opened on a Monday morning and there was already a line. Men in line with their suitcases before they flew out; tourists mixed with locals. It's a small building with limited seating but this place was running like a well oiled machine. Service was amazing, food properly priced, but the food again was the star. I had the fried chicken with the red beans and rice. Juicy chicken fried just right but the red beans and rice . I've been ruined and can't have them anywhere else now without comparing to these. I'm sad that I didn't have room for the gumbo but there is always next time.

This review is about a medium sized catering order. We ordered several items for a party. We had friend chicken, oyster dressing, cornbread dressing, mac & cheese, green beans, and gumbo with white rice. This food was amazing. It was ready to go at our pickup time and it was fresh. The fried chicken was still steaming! Zero complaints. I cannot wait to actually go in the restaurant and sit down to eat.

Long line. You have to order first then get a seat. But only 15 minutes wait. Ordered 8 pieces chicken with fries. Lots of fries.. more than I expected. Chicken is juicy. Catfish with mac and cheese and dirty rice. Catfish is tasty, with shrimp and crabmeat. The sauce is very heavy. Quite thirsty after eating this. Gumbo. Best gumbo i taste..

Hands down the best food I had during my trip to New Orleans. I can't think of one bad thing to say about this place. The fish was fried to Perfection the Mac and cheese was 10/10 I couldn't think of a better place to try. Service was great and the food came out fast. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating definitely worth the trip

We'd heard great things about Lil' Dizzy's and were not misled! When you walk in the door, you're greeted with a friendly "Hi! Welcome to Lil' Dizzy's!" and then given a table number and instructed to order prior to sitting down. Moments later, your meal appears - in my case, fried chicken with jambalaya - and you can tuck in and enjoy every bite! Fun place to people-watch as well.

This was by far the best food I have EVER had. The chicken!!! I was mad at myself for only getting 2 pieces. And that fish. OMG!! The staff is friendly and they run a tight ship. They said it helps make sure no one's time is wasted and I can appreciate that. I will go here very single time I am in New Orleans and will gladly wait for a table!

We get our Li'l Dizzy's fix every time we're in New Orleans. There's always a big decision: fried catfish or fried chicken? This time we had the Thursday special: fried catfish with smothered okra and cornbread. Everything was delicious. The catfish, as usual, was out of this world. Some angel in the kitchen makes THE PERFECT piece of fish. Every. Single. Time. Counting down the days until we eat there again!

My hubby and I had the pleasure of visiting Li'l Dizzy's Cafe on Friday, 09/27/2024 while in NOLA to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary & love was definitely in the air and in my stomach!! ;) If you have not yet experienced Li'l Dizzy's Cafe, you are missing out because not only is the food fresh, hot, and oh so tasty..inside of Dizzy's there is a whole vibe going on! The music being played had me movin' & groovin' in my seat while I was enjoying my very delicious food!! We ordered the Friday special, which was the Catfish Jourdain (fried catfish topped w/ shrimp & crabmeat in a lemon butter sauce) w/ mac n cheese (loved), southern greens (very flavorful), fried chicken (perfection), gumbo (wow), and washed it all down w/ a "Da Dizzy" cocktail (definitely made me feel a lil bit prettier;). I can honestly say that the fried chicken was the best fried chicken I've ever eaten..it was seasoned just right & had the perfect amount of crunch to it..I mean who knew that the perfect amount of crunch could be achieved??!! Well, it can folks!! Lastly, I have to say kudos to all of the Dizzy Cafe employees, who were very welcoming and did an awesome job of keeping things moving along very efficiently. Till next time, Rebecca visiting from Austin, Texas
